The answer is yes, you can find a 2 BD home in desirable S. Redondo Beach for under $425k! I held an open house last Saturday afternoon at 1108 Camino Real Unit #409 in the High Point complex. It is a great 2 bd/2 ba quiet unit that has a balcony that overlooks the Wilderness Park, currently listed for $379,000.

There are also several other options in this area for 2 bedroom condos at nearby complexes such as Brookside Village which is FHA approved. New Hermosa Beach listings

The list keeps growing for fantastic homes hitting the market in 2011 for Hermosa Beach and there are a great variety of homes that could satisfy any type of buyer.  I would like to give a quick recap of the newest Hermosa Beach homes.

Looking for a home with an awesome view from the rooftop deck and great for entertaining, well check out 304 Manhattan Ave. This is a 2 bedroom plus bonus room on the 2nd floor with a balcony and 2 baths with an extremely oversized rooftop deck and almost 1,500 sq feet home. The best family home in the Hermosa Hills section is at 1102 2nd St located on a quiet street to street lot for $1,575,000. This home was custom built in 2005 with a 'french normandy' design and over 3,200 square feet with 4 large bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. Great family home with all 4 bedrooms on the ground floor and the living, formal dining, and kitchen on the 2nd floor with an attached deck with ocean views.

New homes on the market in beach cities

We are only 5 days into 2011 and the market is already starting to get some great new inventory.

Hermosa Beach has 4 new listings, 2 of which were on the market earlier last year and came off over the holidays.
- 55 15th St is 3 bd/4 ba townhome located just steps from the strand, beach and Noble Park. It is being listed at $1,299,000 with almost 2,000 sq feet.
- 1956 Hermosa Ave is coming back out after being on the market for a good portion of 2010. But is now back on the market at a lower more attractive price of $1,359,000 with 3 bedrooms, a back patio deck with jacuzzi, and ocean views from the entertaining level.
- 302 Palm Drive is another 3 bd/3.5 bath modern beach home that is coming out at $1,350,000. This home has an open floor plan with modern upgrades and is great for entertaining with roof top views from PV to Malibu.
These are 3 great townhome style family homes for under $1.4 million and less than two blocks from the beach, great deals for beach living!
Another superb family home is at 603 30th St and is being offered at $1,599,000. This home boasts 4 bds/4 baths and over 3,400 sq feet of living space. Great for any family looking to entertain, live at the beach, and enjoy privacy up on the north side of Hermosa.

Manhattan Beach has 8 properties that have hit the market since the beginning of the year. Three of which were on the market last year too including 1605 Pine Ave, a 3 bd/2 ba beach bungalow offered at $855,000 and west of Sepulveda in the Tree section.
An adorable 1 bedroom beach bungalow came out today at $769,000. It is located at 319 32nd Place and is situated on a half lot in the happening North Manhattan Beach area with great restaurants, shopping & nightlife.
A really cute home is listed at $979,000 is located at 1346 2nd St. and is a 3 bd/2 ba with over 1,400 sq feet on a 5,000 sq foot lot. Great curb appeal with a white picket fence for the front yard and a back patio for entertaining.

Redondo Beach has 11 properties on the market, half of which were on in 2010 and 3 are short sales ranging from $470,000 to $1,249,000, mostly townhomes and just a couple single family homes.
1827 Stanford is a standard sale and is brand new to the market at $749,000. This home is a 3 bd/3 ba tall and skinny with a traditional floor plan and entrance into dining and living area. The second level has all 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 of them have balconies off the bedrooms.
There are also 2 condos for under $600k and located on the Esplanade in S. Redondo with big ocean views.

As you can see there is already some great activity in the beach cities which looks to be a precursor to the already anticipated weekend after Super bowl Sunday when inventory really starts to flood the market. I am excited to see what else will be coming on soon and to finding some great homes for my clients!
